Datachase is a single-player first-person puzzle platformer where players take control of Android C64, the latest in a series of C-Androids created by Professor Adam, has recently been activated and is tasked to complete a series of puzzles and platforming challenges as part of a series of experiments that demonstrate its problem-solving and physical skills. Players can sprint, pick up objects, and hover in mid-air with their jet pack to progress though each room. They will have to deal with moving platforms and beds of spikes looming below them that will be their demise if they're not too careful.

The game contains a four levels that demand players to utilize their moveset to their fullest extent. Aesthetically, the game is akin to the futuristic science-fiction settings seen in games such as Portal. The way players use their moveset will be instrumental to their success.

Main Features

  • Perspective-wise, the game is similar to titles such as The Stanley Parable and Half Life.
  • Similar to other first-person games, how players use their abilities to solve these puzzles will be the deciding factor to their success or failure.
  • The game is structured on a room-by-room basis: Players will progress through a series of rooms asking players to jump across platforms and pick up colored puzzle cubes and place them on the switches corresponding to their color. Once players complete the room's puzzle, the pathway to the next room will open, allowing players to progress to the next puzzle. In the third room, players will acquire a key that unlocks a door to the final puzzle room, where the game concludes once players complete it.
